In 2002, Ville Mäkinen wanted to create ethernet controlled devices to the Living room laboratory. I designed an ethernet-enabled 8-bit processor board (pictured) for him, and he used it in his MSc-thesis, where he programmed it to use UDP for the data communication.

I designed the board, ordered the PCB and soldered it for Ville. He did the programming, and of course a wonderful Master-thesis.
