Commission work for Maarit Mäkelä, for an all-female arts exhibition. She created a set of ceramic boxes, inspired by the work of Akseli Gallen-Kallela. (Akseli being also one of my few inspirations.)
I created a movement sensor, built a mist-generator inside the boxes, and made the exhibition reactive to the presence of the observers. The work was exhibited in Gallen-Kallela museum, during 2010. The exhibit and the design processes of the artists is available from Gallen-Kallela museum (in Finnish only).
